Join Me on My Cambodia Challenge for Shelter – Help Make a Difference!

In October 2025, I’m embarking on an incredible journey—one that will push my limits, test my endurance, and, most importantly, raise vital funds for women and children escaping domestic violence. I will be participating in the Cambodia Challenge for Shelter, a grueling five-day trek through the stunning landscapes of Phnom Kulen National Park, culminating in the breathtaking temples of Angkor Wat.

This challenge is about so much more than physical endurance. It’s about standing up for those who need a safe place to call home. Every step I take will be in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, which provides critical funding to women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention programs across Canada.

Why This Cause Matters

Too many women and children live in fear in their own homes. Every year, thousands seek shelter and safety, leaving behind everything they know to escape abuse. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation helps provide the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

To participate in this challenge, I am covering my own travel and trek expenses, but I must also raise a minimum of $6,00080% of which will go directly to my local women’s shelter, while 20% will help fund national domestic violence prevention programs.

What This Trek Entails

Five days of intense trekking through the Cambodian jungle, villages, and rice fields
No luxury, no technology—I’ll be sleeping in tents, using rustic facilities, and completely unplugging from the modern world
Hot, humid, and exhausting conditions, with long hours of hiking each day
A journey of resilience, determination, and purpose
